The 6th Annual BNCW Tough Enough to Wear Pink Golf Tournament was once again an absolute blast! On Friday, June 24th, the Okanogan Valley Golf Club was covered in PINK! Each year, this event continues to grow in awareness and support!
Our appreciation to BNCW member, Don Kruse Electric, for once again supporting the tournament as our Presenting Sponsor! Without Kevin Diefenbach’s continued support, this event would not be possible. From the very first year, Don Kruse Electric has played a key role in helping to raise money for this very important cause! Thank you Kevin, and your wonderful crew, for always supporting and showing up for this great event! In addition, we want to recognize North Cascades Heating & A/C as this year’s Dinner Sponsor. Thank you, Tom Tice!
All of the net proceeds from this event go directly to the local hospitals in Okanogan County, which are then, by a special grant, able to match the funds raised. After the first six years, this golf tournament has helped to raise over $60,000!
The best part about the funds raised in our tournament is...EVERY dollar stays in Okanogan County to assist women in need of mammograms. This event has already helped to save two lives and provided early detection and a peace of mind for so many others!
In addition to thanking and recognizing all of our generous sponsors, we wish to thank BNCW member, Shauna Beeman—Fiddler Fencing—for her tireless efforts and contributions to the event. Also, a special shout-out to Jerry Larson of OrePac Building Products for traveling up to Okanogan to be our official dinner cook!
We wish to sincerely thank each of the following for their generous support of this year's TETWP tournament! Their support was crucial to ensuring that this year's event was a fantastic success!
